Every child deserves to dance! We work to ensure we can provide classes to everyone. At Studio 17 Dance Company we accept Kidsport and Jumpstart funding to help your little one dance like no one is watching.

KidSport
KidSport provides grants to help cover the costs of registration fees, as well as providing no-cost equipment so that all kids aged 18 and under can play a season of sport. The Calgary chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $500 per child/year, for kids who live in Calgary & Area.
JumpStart
Sometimes, families need financial assistance to get their kids into a sport or physical activity. JumpStart is committed to helping all families access a range of activities, from boxing to bowling and skating to skiing, and more.
The annual maximum amount a child is eligible to receive is up to $600, subject to Chapter discretion and/or local demands. The maximum amount of funding per application is $300. Children can be funded for successive seasons in an activity, up to a maximum of $600 per activity.
The Individual Child Grant system is closed for the 2023 funding year. Please visit the Jumpstart website in January for an update on the reopening date.
